When you sign up to become a vendor you will need to provide us with a contact email address, telephone number, hotel/resort name, address and website (if you have one), plus an outline of the offer that you would like to promote. If your offer meets our criteria, we’ll give you a call to get the coconut rolling.

After we’ve collected your details, we will send you our stage two “Become a Vendor” form, which includes a request for bank transfer details so that we can fatten your wallet. We’re pretty flexible on payment methods, but easiest is a bank transfer. Paypal is also possible, but incurs higher transaction fees, which are passed on to the vendor.

Once one of our lovely visitors reserves their stay, our first step is to confirm the reservation with you. After you have given us the big thumbs up, we will send our final order confirmation to the guest, and then complete payment to you. Processing of this payment can take up to a week, depending on the location of your bank.

At this point, offers are submitted by emailing with a filled out offers form in attachment. Please try to be as detailed as possible in writing the offer, so that we don’t have to pester you for further details.

If you have already published your offer on another site, you can send us the link to the offer so that we can note down the key details. However, we always prefer to promote offers unique to 1000 Trees, so be sure to give us an extra little banana and we’ll juice up your visibility on the site.

Absolutely not! Standard publishing on 1000 Trees is free for all our partners. The most important factor for us is that your offer meets our criteria, and will be appealing to our site visitors.

FAQs: Customers

If you have made your reservation on our site, but not yet receive your email order summary, it is because we are awaiting final confirmation from our vendor partner. Before we can complete payment, we need to confirm that your requirements can be met by our partner, so that we are 100% sure that you won’t arrive for your tropical holiday to be greeted with a sandy night sleeping on the beach!

This is usually completed within a few hours of the reservation, but can take up to one business day if the vendor is for any reason unavailable. If for any reason the vendor is unable to confirm your booking, or fails to do so within the time period, we will inform you of the cancellation, suggest an equivalent offer and refund your payment in full.

Before confirmation of your booking is made, all bookings can be cancelled without incurring any cost. Once the vendor has confirmed your booking, cancellations can be made in accordance to each individual vendor’s cancellation policy.

Usually this means that up to a defined period prior to the visit a full refund is given, then closer to the time a reservation deposit is kept and the booking fee partially refunded. Most vendors do not provide any refund for cancellations within 48 hours of your visit.

Changes to booking dates can be made provided that the vendor has the required room(s) available at the amended time. Just get in touch with our service team and we will reach out to the vendor and pull the strings.

If the vendor can’t meet your requirements, and another partner is able to offer you an equivalent stay, we will put on the charm and request a full refund and transfer your reservation whenever possible, with your approval of course.

In your order confirmation you can find the details of the resort, so if you would like to contact them directly, feel free to do so. However, we are also your holiday gurus, so please feel free to send your questions to our savvy team using our contact form and including your booking number. We’re experts in the local language and customs, plus we can offer unbiased information on local hotspots for eating, drinking, and general pampering.

To make a booking you will need to have a valid credit or debit card, or PayPal account. All major payment providers are accepted (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX).

If you don’t have a card with a chip from the above providers, we also accept bank transfers, but your reservation cannot be completed until payment is received. Therefore it usually takes a few business days for the money to come through.

The best way to do this is to shoot us an email first with a link to the offer that you want to reserve, the dates of the reservation, the number of guests and rooms required. That way we can put your booking on ice until the payment is processed.
